Honour to skiing! Hermann Maier, Lindsey Vonn, Marcel Hirscher, Hans Knauss, Benni and Marlies Raich (Schild), Aksel Lund Svindal, Michael Walchhofer, Thomas Stangassinger, Maria Höfl-Riesch, Felix Neureuther - these are just a few of the ski stars immortalised on the "Walk of Fame" in Maria Alm, always reminding us of all the brilliant achievements these special athletes have managed. Almost "Hollywood-like", the handprints of the skiing legends have been displayed on two-metre-high, artificially rusted steel pillars in front of our inn.

Following in the footsteps of these unforgettable ski stars, the question perhaps arises: And what do all these ski stars have in common? Answer: They all trained on Peter Hörl's legendary race piste near our Hinterreit lifts. And this is still the case: the course is very popular with both local and international sports stars due to the perfect conditions and slope conditions.
